Scotch-Brite™ Surface Preparation Pad Plus (SPP+) is a machine pad designed for floor restoration. Nylon fibres, which are coated throughout with resin and abrasives, ensure consistent removal and leave a smooth surface that can then be recoated. The Scotch-Brite™ Surface Preparation Pad Plus (SPP+) removes old sealant residues cleanly and efficiently. The 20 mm thick pad can be used without an additional backing pad on low-speed automatic floor cleaning machines (175–400 rpm) and single-disc machines. The uniform thickness of the pad from edge to edge and from pad to pad, as well as the pre-punched centre hole, ensure consistent performance without pad wobble or machine vibration. This reduces operator fatigue. The open fibre structure reduces clogging of the pad.
