With the 3M™ Roto Peen fan-shaped grinding discs, you can shot-blast a wide variety of metals. Our fan-shaped grinding discs are portable and therefore extremely convenient. A tungsten carbide ball is attached to the fins. This offers a cleaner method than loose shot-blasting. The discs are particularly effective for precision work, production, repairing small areas and shot blasting bores. They induce compressive residual stress, which improves the material’s durability. Available in three flap sizes for small and large surface areas.

The 3M™ Elite random-orbit sander without extraction is ergonomically designed and features a powerful motor and an extended, curved wrist rest. It is comfortable to control, and the recessed lever platform prevents pinching and pressure marks on the user’s palm. Our sander enables optimal sanding and preparation on a wide range of surfaces, including wood, metal being prepared for painting, fibreglass and composite materials, as well as many other surfaces. These industrial sanders cause the sanding disc and backing pad to rotate in two overlapping oval patterns. This ensures that no abrasive grain follows the same path twice, giving you a finish free from swirl marks, even when sanding against the grain. The composite cover of our lightweight tool absorbs vibrations, and the internal silencer dampens noise. There is a handy dial on the side, allowing you to adjust the speed comfortably with your thumb. The pneumatic power enables many continuous hours of work and far exceeds that of conventional electric sanders (high-pressure hose and air compressor sold separately). The 3M™ Hookit™ sanding pad (included) absorbs shocks and vibrations, ensuring smooth operation. Our pad provides excellent adhesion for the disc whilst still allowing for quick and easy replacement. Our sander is a non-extraction model designed for applications that do not require dust extraction.

The 3M™ Hookit™ backing pad is designed to securely hold 3M™ Hookit™ sanding or finishing discs, as well as our Finesse-it™ sponge, on a wide range of hand-held sanding tools. It features a 45° edge to allow for effortless sanding of the finished area or easier blending. Attach a 3M™ Hookit™ sanding or finishing disc – or a 3M™ Finesse-it™ polishing disc – to a wide range of hand-held sanding tools using the 3M™ Hookit™ backing pad. Our backing pad grips the nylon loops on 3M Hookit discs and ensures a finer finish than discs with a self-adhesive backing. Thanks to the 3M Hookit hook-and-loop fastening system, the disc can be easily attached, removed and reattached. This allows it to be reused repeatedly, extending its sanding performance. Our innovative pads are made from firm, dense foam with a 15° blunt, tapered edge for added durability. They are ideal for aggressive flat sanding applications. Like all 2nd-generation products, it features a dust-protected motor housing. This model is suitable for use with 3M™ Roloc™ grinding discs with diameters of 50 mm and 75 mm, using the appropriate backing pad. Thanks to the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change system, the discs can be quickly released from and attached to the backing pad or mandrel with a simple twist.

This 3M™ Hookit™ Roloc™ backing pad is designed to hold hook-and-loop sanding discs with a diameter of 35 mm. 3M™ Hookit™ Roloc™ sanding discs feature hook-and-loop fastening on soft neoprene foam and are compatible with the appropriate Roloc mounting components. The 25.4 mm diameter sanding discs can be used for grit sizes in the micrometre range. Roloc sanding discs can be used on disc sanders or small random-orbit sanders.

The 3M™ Multihole Suction Hose makes it easy to extract dust and debris. Our flexible and robust hose collects dust and debris generated during sanding and feeds it into extraction systems. With the 3M™ Multihole Extraction Hose, you can collect dust and debris generated during sanding and transfer it to extraction systems. Our black, flexible and robust hose is six metres long and has been designed for use with the 3M™ Hookit™ Purple+ Multihole Hand Block. With our 3M™ Multihole extraction hose, you can move around the vehicle being repaired with ease. Staff can carry out a wide range of tasks when specific equipment is required that is immobile or has a limited reach. The hose can also be connected to other hoses and systems.
