The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ 775L grinding disc features 3M’s precision-shaped ceramic grain – a revolutionary advancement in grinding technology – now available in fine grits ranging from 500+ to 1000+. The triangularly shaped ceramic grain is designed to cut through the substrate rather than gouging or ‘ploughing’ through it like conventional abrasives. As a result, the disc delivers twice the removal rate and up to six times the service life compared to standard discs – without compromising the finish. These discs are now available with an extended grit range up to 1,000+ and are therefore ideal for a wide range of applications, from aggressive material removal to fine finishing. Effective on a variety of surfaces, including metals, composites, all types of wood, paints, primers and other coatings. The durable film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, ensuring additional durability and edge stability in both wet and dry applications.
