3M Scotch-Weld Core Splice Adhesive EC-3500 B/A provides a solution for core splicing, filling gaps between mismatched sections and reinforcing honeycomb cores. It is a two-component, modified epoxy adhesive paste with low density and minimal loss of volatile components during curing. This ensures the adhesive maintains a consistent and strong bond even after curing. This adhesive delivers high performance across a wide temperature range from -67°F to 350°F (-55°C to 177°C). 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Core Splice Adhesive EC-3500 B/A offers good shear and compression strength to ensure bonded substrates continue to perform as expected, even under stress and vibration. Even at high temperatures, the adhesive retains good core shear strength.
Ready to Fly 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 191 offers excellent performance with user-friendly handling properties in the workshop. These adhesive films are available in a variety of weights and carrier materials to meet a range of requirements without incurring excessive material costs. With high fracture toughness and peel strength, AF 191 provides a reliable, long-term bond suitable for composites and metals in the manufacture of solid panels and honeycomb sandwich structures. We also offer an unsupported version, which can be used for reticulation. It is also compatible with multiple substrates and primers. Furthermore, AF 191 exhibits excellent pre-bond humidity performance on composite substrates.

It adheres exceptionally well to a wide variety of substrates, such as metals, glass, ceramics and plastics, including GFRP and CFRP. Once cured, it offers extremely high shear and peel strength across a wide temperature range, with outstanding resistance to harsh environments and chemicals commonly encountered in aerospace applications.
