3M™ Hybrid Structural Adhesive Tape Activator, Clear, 237 ml
The 3M™ Hybrid Textured Adhesive Tape Activator, when used in combination with the adhesive tape, forms a complete system that imposes no limitations on design. The 3M™ Hybrid Textured Adhesive Tape Activator offers maximum strength when applied to both substrates, but a very high level of strength can also be achieved when applied to just one substrate. To bond, simply apply the solvent-based activator to one of the substrates, wait briefly, and then apply the 3M™ Hybrid Structural Adhesive Tape (sold separately). The adhesive begins to cure upon contact with the activator. The activator can trigger the curing reaction in the adhesive for up to 4–6 hours after application. The tape forms a strong bond with immediate handling strength, reaching a shear strength of 1 MPa in 15 minutes and full strength in 72 hours. The tape and activator can be stored at room temperature and are suitable for standard shipping.
