The 3M™ Ultra Barrier Sun Control Film 512 has been specifically developed to meet the requirements of manufacturers of lightweight, flexible, thin sun control films and, thanks to its high light transmission, excellent moisture barrier properties and outstanding weather resistance, can serve as a substitute for glass. The 3M™ Ultra Barrier Sun Control Film 512 is supplied complete with an adhesive that offers improved adhesion at the edges and light transmission comparable to that of sun control glass. Further product options include the 3M™ Ultra Barrier Sun Control Film 5, which is the same film but without the adhesive, and the 3M™ Ultra Barrier Sun Control Film 2006, which is the top film only. 3M has combined its expertise in polymer films, adhesives and advanced materials to develop a high-performance, multi-layered protective film for the solar control industry.

The Obsidian series of automotive window films are manufactured using patented 3M Infuse technology, which incorporates the dye particles into the film. This process ensures better colour fastness and durability than many other tinted films. Obsidian sun protection films also offer high heat rejection and UV protection, as well as low reflectivity, and reduce annoying glare.

A durable, high-performance, solvent-resistant protective film with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. It is applied as a protective film to signs made from 3M™ Diamond Grade™ DG3 Prismatic and 3M™ High Intensity Prismatic (HIP) reflective films. The performance of the protective film matches that of the 3M reflective film onto which it is screen-printed.

The 3M™ 2080 Series Wrap Film is a cast, multi-layer, laminated film with a self-adhesive backing, designed for vehicle wrapping and for creating accents or partial graphics. Compared to the 3M™ Wrap Film Series 1080, this series is more stretchable and adaptable, resulting in a better fit around curves and in creases, as well as a smooth, even appearance. The optimised adhesive ensures an exceptional application experience through reduced initial tack and improved repositionability.* 3M™ Controltac™ technology minimises initial tack for easy repositioning, and 3M™ Comply™ technology utilises the latest version of invisible air channels, which make removing air bubbles very easy.* The 3M™ Wrap Film Series 2080 is available in almost 100 colours, patterns and finishes: high gloss, gloss, satin, matt, textures and flip colours. With a roll width of 1.52 m, installers can apply the film seamlessly to almost any part of the vehicle. The gloss films are coated with a highly adaptable, thin protective film. This helps you avoid scratches during application, even on the most complex projects and curved body panels. Once applied, the protective film can be removed quickly, easily and cleanly. Indentations on the surface of gloss films are significantly reduced, and the substrate is protected from scratches during application to achieve a beautiful finish. All films feature our Comply™ and Controltac™ adhesive technology. Comply™ ensures a bubble-free application with the help of invisible air channels. The pressure-activated Controltac™ adhesive allows for easy sliding, positioning and repositioning of the film.
