ProTemp™ Black Shade Automotive Window Film blocks UVA and UVB radiation, offering a sun protection factor of 1000. Our cost-effective, metal-free, dyed polyester films protect vehicle occupants from uncomfortable heat and glare, and block the main cause of skin damage and fading of the vehicle interior. The films are easy to maintain and do not interfere with mobile phones, GPS devices or radio equipment. They feature a scratch-resistant coating and are available in a range of attractive tint levels. All ProTemp Black Shade Automotive Window Films have German ABG approval.

With 3M™ Colour Stable Automotive Window Films, you can protect yourself and your vehicle from harmful UV radiation, ensure a pleasantly cool interior and reduce glare. Our metal-free window film blocks up to 99 per cent of UV radiation, equivalent to a sun protection factor of 1000. It reflects up to 57 per cent of the sun’s energy and ensures more comfortable, cool temperatures inside the vehicle. This allows you to use the air conditioning less and reduce fuel consumption. The film is available in various tint levels, which can block up to 95 per cent of visible light. The polyester film is manufactured using a special process that enables maximum heat rejection without metallisation. This ensures uninterrupted reception for mobile phones, GPS and radio devices.

The 3M™ Scotchcal™ IJ40 series printing films are versatile printing films designed for medium-term advertising graphics and vehicle graphics for both indoor and outdoor use. The 3M™ Self-Adhesive Fabric for Liquid Protection expands the capabilities of our well-known 3M™ Dirt Trap products. It has been specially developed for temporary surface protection against liquids, dirt and many other contaminants in industrial applications. This thin, lightweight material with a self-adhesive backing for surface protection features a robust polymer layer. This prevents grease, dirt, solvents and other liquids from seeping through and damaging the underlying surfaces. The non-woven surface of the material has been specially developed by 3M to trap dirt, dust, particles and paint mist. Unlike paper or plastic film, it prevents small particles from spreading throughout the facility, where they can settle on surfaces and lead to damage and rework. This material also withstands light impacts and abrasion, making it suitable for areas where metal shavings, nuts, rivets, small metal parts and other particles commonly fall. The fabric protects flat surfaces on which workers temporarily place objects such as hand tools. The 3M™ Self-Adhesive Fabric for Liquid Protection features a self-adhesive backing that facilitates application in a single step onto surfaces such as floors, mats, table tops, carpets, paint scales, parts racks, hoses, machine rollers, etc. The low-tack adhesive holds the material securely in place, ensuring it lies flat and wrinkle-free on a wide range of surfaces. The material is repositionable. So, if you need to access an area behind it after application, you can simply peel it off and reattach it afterwards. After use, and following a typical application/service life of 1 to 4 weeks, the material can be removed cleanly and without leaving any residue – simply peel it off and replace it if necessary. This makes the use of 3M™ Self-Adhesive Fabric for protection against liquids an excellent alternative to the conventional, time-consuming method of covering with paper or plastic and adhesive tape. As the material can be securely fixed in place, it protects surfaces from micro-scratches that can occur when the covering material shifts over time. The non-woven surface of the fabric has been proven to improve adhesion when applied to smooth surfaces. Furthermore, the material is UV-resistant, so you can also use it for up to two weeks to protect outdoor surfaces. The 3M™ Self-Adhesive Fabric for Liquid Protection is available in various widths, allowing you to select the size to suit your surface protection requirements. Painters can apply the fabric by hand or use one of our applicators for wider rolls. The material can be applied smoothly thanks to the foam rollers attached to the applicators. When the fabric needs replacing, it can be easily peeled off and replaced with a new layer.

tesa® 4416 is a surface protection tape for indoor use, specially developed for floors and other surfaces that require reliable protection against damage, abrasion and dirt. It consists of a white, embossed PP backing and is coated with a removable acrylic adhesive. The embossed backing ensures good grip and reduces the risk of slipping, particularly in safety-critical areas. The acrylic adhesive adheres well to various surfaces and can be removed without leaving any residue. tesa® 4416 complies with category R9 according to DIN EN 16165 and the Technical Rule for Workplaces ‘Floors’ ASR A1.5.

The 3M™ Cost-Effective Masking Film offers good adhesion properties for both solvent-based and water-based paints. Our affordable, high-density, tear-resistant, pliable and specially treated masking film provides protection against overspray. Use our film with the 3M Masking Film Dispenser. Easy to use: a single person can mask a vehicle. The centre is marked, which makes it easier to align the film correctly when masking a vehicle. For cars, the film is available in a standard width of 4 m/12’; for larger vehicles, you can choose a width of 5 m/16’.

Our window films reflect up to 60 per cent of the sun’s energy and up to 97 per cent of heat-producing infrared rays. 3M™ Controltac™ Series 180 printing films are versatile films used in vehicle and transport advertising for both indoor and outdoor applications. Featuring 3M™ Controltac™ technology, the film offers exceptional repositionability during application. The adhesive system acts as a mechanical spacer between the film and the substrate. 3M™ Controltac™ is effective across a wide temperature range. The 3M™ Transparent Masking Film protects fresh paintwork from contamination. Our high-density, transparent, static-charged polyethylene masking film attracts dust particles and keeps them away from freshly sprayed paint. Our transparent masking film can be applied by a single person. It adheres easily to the vehicle surface and protects against paint overspray. When removed, neither paint nor primer flakes off the film’s surface. Available in two widths: 4 and 5 m.

Our Envision FS-1 stretch fabric is characterised by a light transmission rate that is almost twice as high as that of conventional stretch fabrics used in illuminated advertising. It is therefore ideally suited for use with energy-saving LED lighting.
