The 3M™ PROTECTA® Standard Full-Body Fall Arrest Harness is a modern fall arrest harness with special features. Its protected labels remain permanently legible for quick and easy inspection. For workers who need to work over edges, our 3M™ Protecta® Sanchoc energy-absorbing, edge-tested lanyards (rope or webbing) have been rigorously tested over an edge with a radius of 0.5 mm. 3M™ DBI-SALA® tool attachments are a cost-effective solution for quickly securing tools. 3M™ DBI-SALA® fall protection tool attachments are designed to provide an anchor point for tool lanyards to be attached to tools.

The screw-lock carabiner is ideal when the carabiner needs to be opened occasionally during the working day. The latch can be opened by pressing it and secured by hand once the carabiner has taken the load. With 3M™ DBI-SALA® screw-lock carabiners, you can create a semi-permanent connection between the components of a fall arrest system (e.g. between a harness and a lanyard, or between a positioning lanyard and a belt).

3M™ Protecta® Automatic Self-retracting Fall Arrest Device with Carabiner. 3M™ Protecta® Automatic Self-retracting Fall Arrest Device for use on 3-strand safety ropes. The self-retracting fall arrest device automatically follows the user, offering maximum freedom of movement and hands-free operation. The device can also be manually secured on the rope, making it ideal for both fall arrest and work positioning. It can be released or removed at any point along the safety rope. In the event of a fall, the self-retracting fall arrest device is locked onto the safety rope by a cam-lever brake.

The 3M™ DBI-SALA® wall sleeve davit base is a stainless steel base for 3M™ DBI-SALA® adjustable davit masts. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® range of bases for lifting systems is designed for entry into and rescue from manholes and confined spaces. The portable units are made from lightweight, high-strength aluminium and can be adapted to fit many standard openings. Our fixed and bolt-on bases are available in aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel, offering maximum flexibility. We offer bases for a wide range of applications, including floor, wall, core, deck, flush, barrel, forklift and coupling mounting, to name but a few. 3M™ Protecta® Work Positioning Lanyards with Trigger. 3M™ Protecta® Work Positioning Lanyards with Trigger are made from a 10.5 mm braided rope and are available in various lengths. The trigger adjustment system allows the user to adjust the length of the lanyard during use – even if the rope is dirty and wet. The work positioning lanyard allows a user who is partially supported by a structure or fixed ladder to carry out work with both hands without losing their balance. All lengths are supplied with a triple-locking carabiner for connection to the user and a galvanised steel automatic carabiner as an anchor point. The user must ensure that a suitable second means of fall arrest (e.g. a fall arrest lanyard) is used.

A 3M™ DBI-SALA® Lad-Saf™ sleeve connects the user to the system, automatically follows the user as they ascend and locks onto the wire rope in the event of a fall, thereby catching the user. The optional brackets are designed for user-friendliness, cost-effectiveness and versatility and can be bolted or welded in place. The size and design of the rung clamps can be selected, as can systems for straight or curved ladders and for connections to timber, concrete or steel structures. Hundreds of different brackets, designs and configurations are available, suitable for virtually any type of application. The versatile system can also be used by up to four users simultaneously, thereby increasing flexibility at the workplace. 3M™ DBI-SALA® Lad-Saf™ Vertical Rope Access Systems have been newly developed to simplify and speed up the installation process of the fall protection system.
