The 3M™ DBI-SALA® wall sleeve davit base is a stainless steel base for 3M™ DBI-SALA® adjustable davit masts. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® range of bases for lifting systems is designed for entry into and rescue from manholes and confined spaces. The portable units are made from lightweight, high-strength aluminium and can be adapted to fit many standard openings. Our fixed and bolt-on bases are available in aluminium, galvanised and stainless steel, offering maximum flexibility. We offer bases for a wide range of applications, including floor, wall, core, deck, flush, barrel, forklift and coupling mounting, to name but a few. All bases are designed for use in combination with a davit mast and, together, form a rescue and work support system for confined spaces. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® cap for the HC (High Capacity) davit base for confined spaces is made from sturdy plastic and stainless steel. The rubber O-ring makes the cap watertight and liquid-tight, and keeps permanently mounted davit sleeves free from foreign objects. A retractable ring lies flat when not in use and can be raised to allow easy removal of the cap. Protect permanently mounted davit sockets from contamination with the 3M™ DBI-SALA® HC (High Capacity) Davit Base Cap for Confined Spaces. The cap is made of sturdy plastic and stainless steel. A rubber O-ring makes the cap water- and liquid-tight. The retractable ring lies flat when not in use and can be raised for easy removal of the cap. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® Hollow DeckHigh-Capacity Davit Base for Confined Spaces is made of galvanised or stainless steel and is designed for installation through the floor covering and for clamping to floor coverings with a thickness of 13 mm to 90 mm using the supplied fixing materials, as part of a complete solution for access to confined spaces.

The 3M™ DBI-SALA® High-Capacity Lanyard Mounting Bracket for confined spaces is made from galvanised steel. This bracket accommodates our approved 3M™ DBI-SALA® or 3M™ Protecta® secondary lanyards. The bracket is secured to the davit mast using two locking pins. Self-retracting ropes on the pins prevent the ropes from breaking or becoming snagged. The 3M™ DBI-SALA® High Capacity Mounting Bracket for Confined Space Lanyards enables the attachment of an approved secondary 3M™ DBI-SALA® or 3M™ Protecta® lanyard to 3M™ DBI-SALA® davits. The 3M mounting bracket is primarily made of steel and features a corrosion-resistant zinc coating. It is secured to the vertical davit mast using two locking pins. Self-retracting ropes on the locking pins prevent the ropes from breaking or creating snagging hazards.

Use 3M™ DBI-SALA® davit arms with 3M™ DBI-SALA® davit bases as part of a rescue and work support system for confined spaces. This davit system is primarily made of extruded aluminium and features a powder coating in gloss black and a high-visibility green. The system has a modular design and can be dismantled into several parts for easy transport and storage. The modular design also ensures seamless interchangeability between long- and short-reach davit arm systems. The Davitarm is adjustable in both height and width and is securely locked in place with locking pins. Self-retracting ropes on the pins prevent the ropes from snapping or becoming snags.
