The 3M™ 4515 Protective Suit offers CE-certified protection against hazards such as harmful dust, splashes and radioactively contaminated particles. It meets the requirements of a range of standards for chemical protective clothing, including EN 1073-2 protection against radioactively contaminated particles, EN ISO 13688, EN 13034 Type 6 against liquid splashes and EN ISO 13982-1 Type 5 against fine dust. It consists of SMS material, i.e. a spunbond layer on the inside and outside, with a meltblown layer in between. The spunbond layer provides strength and splash protection, whilst the meltblown layers form a complex microfibre fleece that filters out dry particles. Preferred for applications involving particle or fibre exposure (e.g. asbestos removal or cement production). The material is 50 g/m² thick and offers optimum tear resistance and long-lasting comfort. The protective suit is made from a highly breathable material and effectively wicks away body heat and moisture whilst being worn.
